Vaporesso Luxe 220W Mod
The Luxe is a dual 18650 mod with a rating of 220 watts and is powered by the Omni 4.2 chip.
It’s got a gorgeous and modern design that makes it stand out from the rest. The mod comes with a centered 510 thread connection – allowing it to fit atomizers of up to 28mm without overhang. The 510, if you closely inspect it, looks like it is made for long term durability as it is attached to the frame and is not press fit. It also has a gold-plated, spring-loaded positive center pin.
The Luxe’s got a large, 2-inch color TFT screen with a crisp and properly-sized font. The display is fantastic and adds up to the ease of navigating all the menu options and makes the whole process of customizing the mod’s functions quick and simple.
Everything can be set, from screen brightness to vaping functions. The mod also has a fast-charging (2.5 amp) feature that fully charges two 18650 batteries in just 1.5 hours, which is pretty impressive.
The SKRR tank is primarily made of stainless steel, and has an e-liquid capacity of 8mL. It also comes with cool features such as a top fill system with a child lock system and dual adjustable airflow.
The SKRR utilizes a set of coil heads called the QF meshed and the QF strip, with the QF meshed having a resistance of 0.2 ohms and is rated at 55 to 88 watts and the QF strip having a resistance of 0.15 ohms and is rated at 50 to 80 watts.
These coils feature a new technology called the quad flow air distribution system that makes use of a pole in the middle of it to deliver airflow – optimizing the airflow and eliminating cold air intake to deliver a warmer and richer flavor.
With the increased airflow, the SKRR tank creates a denser and bigger cloud while maintaining an overall smooth drag. The quad flow air distribution system technology also wipes out any chance of spit back and makes the coil head leak-free.
Another special feature of these coils is that not only organic cotton is used for the wicking, as it also contains flax fiber in it. Which is quite handy thing, as flax fiber is known to be the strongest natural fiber there is – helping increase the coil’s longevity. The flax fiber’s high liquid absorption quality also allows for enhanced flavor production.

The Vaporesso Luxe has over 13 different vaping modes, including custom curve for both variable wattage and temperature control mode, titanium, nickel, and stainless steel in temperature control, variable voltage, bypass, and TCR mode.
The Luxe’s mode menu is simple to use as it is very well organized. Vapers also get a lot of versatility as the Omni 4.2 chipset that the Luxe utilizes offers several vaping options.
Design and Manufacturing Quality
The Vaporesso Luxe comes in 9 finishes: green ape, black, red, silver, bronze, iris, rainbow, monster mash, and betta fish.
With a smooth and streamlined design, combined with a nice size and rounded edges, the Vaporesso Luxe offers an ergonomic and comfortable grip that truly makes it a pleasure to hold.
The large format, 2-inch color touchscreen display is found on the front of the vape mod — encompassing pretty much the device’s entire width with its edge-to-edge design that gives it a similar design language as a smartphone.
The screen also does a good job at displaying info that a vaper should know, and more, with a dual-battery monitoring, a puff counter/duration, the selected mode, wattage, resistance, and voltage. It definitely looks very beautiful with its enhanced contrast and vivid colors.
The Luxe also features capacitive buttons just below the display, together with just one physical (firing) button on its side. It is an overall well-built and sturdy mod that doesn’t rattle or shake.
With the help of the SKRR tank’s new QF coils that use a unique dual-chamber in order to heat the passing airflow up a lot quicker and efficiently than other coils, you get a warmer vaping experience and a remarkable flavor.
The Vaporesso Luxe’s temperature control and variable wattage feel excellent, thanks to its advanced Omni 4.2 chipset.
The variable wattage performs well on the Luxe, with no misfires or firing delays. Temperature control also performs quite well – giving you a very reliable dry hit protection and a satisfying warm vape with the proper TCR value. The Luxe’s power curve option works excellently, too – allowing you to customize the device’s wattage during each second of fire time.
Ease of Use
The Vaporesso Luxe is relatively easy to use, despite the numerous features it supports. Its nicely designed user interface is pretty great – engaging well with the capacitive buttons found below the display to go through the bright, easy to see, and intuitive on-screen menu. Setting the vape up for first-time use is also quick and easy. Wattage is also fast and easy to adjust, and getting the batteries in and out the magnetic backplate could easily be done without damaging wraps.
The Vaporesso Luxe is an average size for a mod that operates on two 18650 cells. The vape is quite heavy even without the batteries loaded though, which is because of the materials that were used for its premium build.
It measures 47.8mm in length, 30mm in width, and 146mm in height with the SKRR tank installed – reasonable enough for it to make an easy fit for storage.
Putting it inside your pocket may be uncomfortable though, as it would be a tight fit. With regards to its battery life, the Vaporesso Luxe is quite the deal, giving most vapers around 1 to 2 days before needing a recharge.
Also, because it sports a 2.5 amp quick-charging micro-USB port, you won’t have to bring an extra set of batteries, eliminating the weight that they would add to your bag when traveling.
With all things considered, the Vaporesso Luxe is a great mod with a premium build, an elegant and clean design, and with a lot of power and features. It’s got an excellent airflow and the QF airflow system gives dense, big, and savory clouds. The Omni 4.2 chipset also works flawlessly in all vaping modes and options.

SMOK Morph 219
The New SMOK Morph sports an OLED display with an intuitive user interface with responsive on-screen buttons. The firing bar is found on its side and feels smooth and snappy.
The airflow that the tank included in the kit produces does a not-so-excellent job, just okay. The power output is adjustable in 1-watt increments – allowing you a great deal of adjustability in order to find your preferred sweet spot. The mod can fit tanks up to 30mm in diameter on its top without overhang, which is nice.
Though it comes with a lot of features, getting the hang of it is pretty easy with the intuitive user interface that lets you view everything that’s going on with your box mod in just a glance. Vaping with this dual 18650 mod with its stock tank will give you a full day without having to get a recharge. That’s pretty nice, as you won’t have to bring an extra set of batteries.
The Aegis Legend is another dual 18650 vape that has a waterproof, shockproof, and durable design with a leather inlay and a rubberized exterior. Its 510 connection is pretty strong and is centered perfectly – allowing it to handle tanks of up to 30mm without overhang.
The Aegis Legend has pretty much all of the features that you’d expect from a modern-day mod; its screen is colored and could be set to red, light blue, and blue.
The Aegis Legend’s got an outstanding menu system and lets you access your desired vaping features in a quick and easy manner. Both temperature control vaping is enjoyably smooth. The mod features fast charging and balanced charging and is decent enough to get most vapers a day’s worth of vaping.
The Vaporesso Luxe is an easy choice for mods in its class. The mod performs really well and fully takes advantage of the Omni 4.2’s many capabilities.
The Luxe looks classy, slick, and is a pleasure to hold. Compared to most of its competition, the tactile feedback it has is a clear winner and the touch control is, in my opinion, implemented better.
The SKRR tank that the Luxe comes with is practically leak-proof, has long-lasting coils, and holds a lot (8mL) of e-liquid. The Vaporesso Luxe is clearly designed with a lot of innovative ideas in mind – which is why it’s already up in the best mod of the year.
