Rotating the Mod will auto adjust the 0.96 OLED screen in the right direction.
CPS (Customized Power Settings)
The Speeder 200W Mod comes with CPS mode with three memory locations (C1, C2, and C3) giving you the possibility to set custom power curves (you can use it also as pre-heat function).
Balance Battery Charging
The Speeder Mod is capable of charging the batteries individually reading the voltage of each cell in real time. Also, the amps that the device is charging at is visible on the screen.
QR code Support
Aspire is introducing a new way to help their customers to debug problems on the Speeder Mod providing a QR code attached on the mod. By scanning this code, you will be redirected to Aspire help center where are available all the technical specifications, user guides, and FAQs. A nice way from Aspire to provide help in case you will need it.
Aspire has shown that, indeed they are making good Mods with lots of functionality and Tanks with beautiful design and good flavor, but as always there is room to improve.
Some minor “defects” were found using this mod. The 510 connector is slightly tilted creating a small space between the tank and mod on one side.
The fire button is quite difficult to press if the mod is not handled well as the electronic switch is placed at the top of the trigger. Making the activation of the Speeder quite impossible if pressed at the bottom of the trigger.
Another down side was trying to trigger the short circuit error. After some tests, all we have got was low resistance error. On the other hand, over 10 seconds and inverse polarity protections are working as expected. Maby the short circuit error will be fixed on future frimware updates.
The CPS (Customized Power Settings) user interface is quite small on the 0.96-inch OLED screen. Consider buying a microscope if you have vision problems. Just kidding, but indeed the interface is small but also powerful. Maby a bigger screen next time?
In the box we find two different types of coils, the A3 0.3-ohm Kanthal AF Tri-coil rated at 60-75W and A5 0.16-ohm Kanthal AF Penta-coil rated at 100-120W that comes pre-installed.
Between them, I prefer the A3 coil as I get from it the right amount of vapor and flavor. Unfortunately the tank doesn’t have an anti spit back protection.
Bottom line, Aspire Speeder 200W Kit is a nice choice. It might have some small “defects” but at the end of the day is such an amazing and good looking kit to have. Good flavor and big clouds from both A3 and A5 coils.
